Didattica a distanza-Didattica a distanza-

Based on the current provisions adopted by the Authorities and the resolutions of the University Bodies, lessons of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree courses will be carried out in “in person” classrooms and guaranteed also through distance learning. Some courses, according to Departments’ provisions, will be carried out totally or partially through distance learning.

More general regulations about security, access to classrooms and the use of study and rest stop rooms are included in the “Joint Protocol regulating the measures to fight and contain the widespread of Covid-19”.

The tool adopted by the University of Trieste for distance learning (synchronic and a-synchronic online lessons) is Microsoft Teams (MS Teams).

Access to virtual classrooms is made through the Catalogue of distance learning by using university credentials, in the following format: userid@ds.units.it

Access to distance learning lessons through Microsoft Teams is made through the Catalogue of distance learning, where a search tool is available by course of study or teachers of the courses of the second semester, the related links give direct access to the lessons in videoconference, as indicated in the tutorial. The beginning of the lessons should be in accordance with calendars and timetables published by the degree courses;
for a complete use of Microsoft Teams we suggest to refer to Microsoft support page.
To save video-lessons recorded by Teams you have to use the Stream platform; sharing videos uploaded on the platform is described in the following guide.

For students

Operating indications to access online lessons for students are available through their own degree courses.

All students are enabled to use Microsoft Teams platform as indicated in the tutorial.

All courses of the second semester have a virtual classroom available at the Catalogue of distance learning.

Students are also invited to check with teachers of their degree courses whether they can access lessons through a specific Teams created by the teacher.

Students access by using their university credentials; therefore we recommend to log out in case of previous access to Microsoft Teams with personal account.

On the webpage dedicated to lessons provided through Microsoft Teams platform, students can find the course they are interested in by searching the Degree course or teacher’s name.
