Courses with free access

Terms: 3rd July 2023 to 5th October 2023

1. pay the 1st installment of the a.y. 2023/24 of the course of origin. You must also be in rule with enrollments of previous years.
2. fill in the changing course form: it is editable, then fill it in digitally and save your copy keeping the word format: https://www.units.it/sites/default/files/media/documenti/studenti/segreteria-studenti/passaggio-allegato-2023.docx
3. Enter the Online Student Secretariat (ESSE3) and log in
4. in the Home Menu, select Changing Course and follow the guided procedure, attaching the form when prompted
5. at the end of the online procedure you will have to pay the 16.00-euro stamp duty that the system will have charged.

Warning: the stamp duty must be paid even if you subsequently apply to transfer to another course of study.

Mode of courses with programmed access
 
Terms: defined by the Call for admission 

1. pay the 1st installment of the a.y. 2023/24 of the study course of origin (if you cannot find the fees in Esse3, contact the Admissions Office of the course of study of destination. You must also be in rule with enrollments of previous years.
2. fill in the course changing form: it is editable, then fill it in digitally and save your copy keeping the word format: https://www.units.it/sites/default/files/media/documenti/studenti/segret...
3. go to the online Student Secretariat and log in
4. in the Home Menu, select Changing Course and follow the guided procedure, attaching the form when prompted
5. at the end of the online procedure you will have to pay 16.00-euro stamp duty that the system will have charged.

Warning: the stamp duty must be paid even if you subsequently apply to transfer to another course of study.
 
The changing course fee (30.00 euros if you do not ask for recognition of exams or 60.00 euros if you ask for it) will instead be charged after completing the enrollment in the new course.
 
More information:
for high school degrees obtained abroad, the offices will verify eligibility to access to the new course of study.
the competent course of study offices will decide the validations of your exams and the year of enrollment; if you do not ask for validations, you will automatically be enrolled in the first year.
you cannot take exams from the time the application is submitted until the enrollment in the new course is completed.

before submitting the application, check information in the host university about terms, enrollment procedures and access requirements for the course of study you have chosen.
do not pay the 1st installment of the a.y. 2023/2024 in university of Trieste; instead, you must be in rule with the enrollments of previous years.

and send it by e-mail to the Student Career Office of your course of study: the outgoing transfer fee (116.00 euro) will be charged to you after submitting the application on your online services.

you can take exams at this University until the date of submission of the application.
once the transfer has been obtained, you can ask to come back to this location only from the following academic year.
