UniTS e Coursera for Campus

02 April, 2020

Our University has access to Coursera for Campus, an on-line higher-education catalogue now available to all universities and students from areas that have been more severely hit by the Coronavirus.

Coursera is the world’s biggest platform for online education and it chose to freely open its doors in order minimise the epidemic impact.

Through this offer, universities will have free access to 3,800 high-quality courses and 400 specialisations offered by important universities and enterprises.

Courses’ contents go from Economics to Technology, Data Science, Informatics, IT and Cloud Computing, Arts and Humanities, Health Care, Physics, Engineering, Languages and much more.

Users will be able to employ the larger time at their disposition to learn a language, improve their knowledge of Graphic Design or attend a Photography course organised by MoMA in New York.

The University of Trieste has up to 5,000 licences for its students. They will receive an invitation from Coursera in their institutional mailbox. Then, they will have to follow instructions to create their own profile and access the chosen courses. The University of Trieste will freely access the catalogue until 31 July 2020 and its students will continue to have free access till 30 September 2020.
