Student Ambassador Units

21 December, 2021

One of the initiatives of the Transform4Europe alliance is to create a Student Ambassadors Programme providing “buddies” to welcome, foster and support small groups of visiting students from within the alliance for the whole exchange process.

Ambassadors will be outstanding students from the home university with a knowledge of the Transform4Europe activities for incoming students.

Let's get to know them, from right to left:

Nicola Russo is a master student in modern language translation and interpreting. He spent his Erasmus in Germany and completed his Bachelor in France. He was already involved in the T4E Student Council and is looking forward to helping international students feel at home in Trieste!

Margherita Giordano is a bachelor degree student in modern language translation. As a language student, she loves getting in touch with new cultures and practicing foreign languages. She says her experience as an ESN member has been amazing so far, and she is excited about doing even more as a Student Ambassador!

Agnese Trento studies Translation and Law and loves learning about different cultures and speaking foreign languages. Thanks to ESN she found a way to get in contact with people from other countries and help them better integrate in student life. As a Student Ambassador she can’t wait to welcome the incoming students next semester and make them feel at home here in our beautiful city!

Emma Bianco studies Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology. After her Erasmus in Regensburg, Germany, she felt the need to meet new people from different backgrounds. Therefore, she became a member of ESN Trieste and, as a secretary, she supports Erasmus students who need help before and after their arrival in Trieste. Now she simply can’t wait to continue her mission also as a Student Ambassador!

Solange Brumat, after joining the staff of a local ESN in France, started supporting international students at UniTS. She became ESN Communication Manager and then President of the Trieste section. She strongly believes in the role of the Student Ambassador as a "bridge" towards incoming students. Being inclusive and welcoming towards other people is very important for her.
