Solidarity to Beirut

The University of Trieste has learned with deep sorrow the dramatic events occurred in Beirut and wants to express solidarity to this deeply wounded city and to extend its support to the Lebanese people, authorities and academic communities.

Our university is particularly close to the Lebanese students that are a lively part of our community, and to their families, as well as to the colleagues of the University of Saint Joseph, with which our Departments of Humanities; of Legal, Language, Interpreting and Translation Studies; of Political and Social Sciences; and of Economic, Business, Mathematical and Statistical Sciences currently have fruitful academic collaborations.
