The last Roadshow of Innovamare project is about to start in Bari on March 22-23th, 2023.
Prof. Guido Bortoluzzi will participate for UniTS: "The INNOVAMARE project has been a great success under many perspectives. For sure the biggest contribution of the project is the creation of a Digital Innovation Hub in Sibenik that will represent an asset for all the start-ups, the established companies, the research centers and the universities operating in the field of remotely operated underwater vehicles and autonomous underwater vehicles".
InnovaMare strategic project is designed to develop and establish a model of innovation ecosystem in the field of underwater robotics and sensors for the control and monitoring of pollution in Adriatic Sea. The project is co-financed by the EU Regional Development Fund under the Italy-Croatia Cross-border Cooperation Program 2014-2020. One of the main challenges of InnovaMare project is to increase the efficiency of innovation activities in relevant areas of blue economy - increasing knowledge transfer.
The Roadshow, organized by ARTI - Apulian Regional Agency for Technology and Innovation as project partner, will be dedicated to the topics of blue technologies and smart solutions for Adriatic Sea.
On March 22nd, at the University Sport Center (CUS) of Bari, there will be the workshop "Cooperation, blue technologies and smart solutions for the sustainability of Adriatic Sea", in which contributions and experiences are expected by various experts among institutions, project partners, companies and research activities, with a focus on the project and on the "Digital Innovation Hub", followed by the sessions "Blue economy in Puglia and the regional Blue Growth strategy" and "Blue technologies and sea smart solutions and their applications”.
There will be also two demos of innovative robotic solutions, developed within the project by CNR – National Research Council and University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing.
On March 23rd, 2023 the roadshow will continue with the Study Visits at two of the most innovative research centers in the area: the Coastal Engineering Laboratory (LIC) of the DICATECh - Polytechnic of Bari, in Valenzano (BA) and the Labruna s.r.l. - Marine Division, in Monopoli (Ba).
