Master in Robotics 2019/20

The University of Trieste is proud to present the second edition of the Master's Degree in Robotics, the first master's degree in Highly Professionalizing Robotics ever made in Italy.

The Master, activated by the Department of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Trieste, will form highly interdisciplinary profiles in the field of Robotics and Advanced Automation, able to communicate with specialists in the various sub-sectors of which Robotics is composed (implementation, sensors, automation, mechatronics, artificial vision, artificial intelligence and others).

The Master is characterized by a practical and application-oriented approach, with a strong projection towards internationalization and the state of the art technology. All the lectures will be carried out in English and recorded in a multimedia way. Company internships and guided visits to partner companies' laboratories are also planned.

The didactics is mixed, by universities and business companies, and brings together the national and international excellence of both worlds: professors from the University of Trieste, Biorobotics Institute of the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, Joanneum Research Robotics of Klagenfurt, ICTP of Trieste, Josef Stefan Institute of Ljubljana, National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics - OGS of Trieste, Omron (Milan), Electrolux (Pordenone), Saipem (Mestre), Wartsila (Trieste), Danieli Telerobot Labs of Genoa, Eurotech (Amaro) and other companies and institutions highly qualified contribute to make the Master in Robotics a unique training moment in Italy, able to project the career of the students in a field at the highest levels that in the coming years will see an impressive development.

The cost for the enrollment is € 3500, plus tuition.

The maximum number of seats available for the A.A. 2019/2020 is 20.

Last year, eight scholarships were awarded for the most deserving students and for the A.A. 2019/2020 the initiative will be renewed, allowing the students to carry out a training internship in the companies that collaborate in the Master.

The students can come either from the University or job positions, with the sole requirement of having already obtained a Master's Degree in Engineering (of any field), Mathematics or Physics.

It will be possible to register from August 9th to October 14th 2019.
