UniTS confirms itself among the best Italian universities and obtains excellent positions in the Round World University Ranking 2019
Published on April 17, 2019 the University Ranking "RUR - Round World University Ranking 2019" which examines 761 universities worldwide. For the evaluation it uses the well-known data collection system Clarivate Analytics, a U.S. platform specializing in the collection and evaluation of data from scientific journals, impact factor indexes of publications, patents and intellectual property, scientific research, academic quality standards, etc..
The University of Trieste is in a very good position, obtaining the 237th place in the world, improving its result: in the same ranking published in 2017, it was in fact at the 283rd place.
Very good also as regards the ranking among the Italian universities, where he gains fifth place.
If we consider the scores assigned for the various items examined, the University of Trieste is in fifth place in Italy for "Research ranking" and 133rd place in the general ranking, with high scores that guarantee 93rd place for "Citations for academic and research staff" and 65th place for "Normalized citation impact".
Fifth among the Italians also for "Teaching ranking" and 363rd in the world rankings.
Analyzing the item "International diversity ranking", our University occupies the 7th position among Italians and is 80° in the general classification for what concerns "Share of international co-authored papers".
Finally, UniTS ranks third in the national ranking for the "Financial sustainability ranking".
