The new RUR-Round University Ranking was published for the Medical Sciences area and the Life Sciences area.
The ranking, which evaluates the best universities in the world, is realized by RUR Ranking Agency, a specialized agency of the Russian Federation, in collaboration with Clarivate Analytics.
At the world level, the University of Trieste stands at 99th place in the Life Sciences area and at the 194th position in Medical Sciences.
Among the Italian universities, the University of Trieste is ranked second overall for "Medical Sciences" and "Life Sciences".
In detail of the assigned scores, in the Life Sciences we point out the first national place obtained for teaching, the second for internationalization and the third one for scientific research.
UniTS wins the second place among the Italian universities also for Medical Sciences, in the evaluation for teaching.

RUR World University Ranking evaluates the performance of the major training institutes worldwide since 2010. During these years 1.100 universities from 85 countries took part in the survey. RUR Ranking evaluates performance on 20 indicators grouped into 4 areas: teaching, research, internationalization, financial sustainability.
