A Second Level Master in Robotics in Trieste

The University of Trieste is proud to announce the first 2nd level Master in Robotics ever held in Italy.

The Master course, organized by the Dept. of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Trieste, will shape highly interdisciplinary professionals in the fields of Robotics and Advanced Automation, able to proficiently exchange views with specialists in the various sub-sectors contributing to Robotics (like Actuation, Sensorics, Automation, Artificial Vision, Artificial Intelligence, and many others).

The initiative is characterized by a practical and application-oriented approach, with a strong projection towards internationalization and cutting edge technologies.

All the classes will be held in English and will be digitally recorded, with the possibility to stream them and/or to download them, for later review. Moreover, internships to be carried out at the Master's partner companies are foreseen, as well as guided visits of the companies' premises and laboratories.

The Professors will be coming from both Academy and Industry, gathering the excellence of the two worlds: Lecturers coming from University of Trieste, the BioRobotics Institute of the University Sant'Anna (Pisa), Joanneum Research Robotics (Klagenfurt), ICTP (Trieste), Josef Stefan Institute (Ljubljana), OGS (Trieste), Omron Electronics (Milano), Electrolux (Pordenone), Saipem (Mestre), Wartsila (Trieste), Danieli Telerobot Laboratories (Genova), Eurotech (Amaro) and other highly qualified companies and institutions contribute to realize a Master course which is unique in Italy, able to project at the highest level the careers of the scholars in a field that will have an impressive development in the next years.

The Master's fee is 3500 €, plus university taxes.

The maximum number of available posts is 15.

Eight grants will be awarded by the partner companies to the most deserving scholars.

The scholars may access the Master both directly coming from University studies or from work positions; the only requirement is to hold a 2nd level Degree (Master's Degree) in Engineering (any specialization), Mathematics or Physics.
