Certificates remain valid and usable between private parties and/or abroad and must be issued with €16.00 stamp duty, except in those cases expressly stipulated in the current regulation (D.P.R. 642 of 26/10/1972 and subsequent dispositions).
Graduates, doctoral students and holders of doctorates can also request certificates in English (Transcript of records).
For graduates, the Diploma Supplement is also available.
What do I need to do to obtain the certificates?
-
You can contact the Secretariat of your course of study or doctorate. You will need a document of identity and a €16.00 stamp duty for each certificate requested (except in those cases where an exemption is expressly indicated). You can delegate a third person by providing a written and signed authorisation (specifying the type and intended use of the certificate requested) and a front/back copy of your document of identity. Where possible, certificates are issued immediately.
- If you cannot go to the office and cannot send a delegate, check if you have the credentials to access Esse3 and send an email to the Student Secretariat of your course of study giving the following details:
- the type and number of certificates requested and the intended use, specifying if they will be sent abroad;
- request the debit of a virtual stamp duty on Online Services on Esse3 (€16.00 for each certificate requested);
- attach a front/back scan of your document of identity;
- finally, to receive the certificate, you must designate a private courier, at your expense, and indicate the details in your mail. You will be advised when the certificate is ready, and the courier should collect it from the Ufficio postale dell’Ateneo - P.le Europa 1, central building, ground floor, right wing, from Monday to Friday 8.00 – 13.00 (tel. 0405583048). The envelope will be addressed to you and the courier will need to specify this.
CERTIFICATE OF PAYMENT OF FEES: this is one of the exceptional cases, and you can print the certificate for the last two years in your Personal Area on the Online Services page under the section Certificates and Changes to study plan. A stamp duty is not required. For payments of past years, contact the Student Secretariats.
