SISSA Opening Ceremony 2018 - 5 November, 10 am

SISSA, “Paolo Budinich” Main Lecture Hall

SISSA celebrates the start of the new academic year and its 40th Anniversary with all staff and scholars. This event will be the occasion to welcome the new students and launch the Alumni Society. In agenda also the Lectio Magistralis by Gian Francesco Giudice, former SISSA student now Head of the Theoretical Physics Department at CERN, and a speech by the writer Paolo Giordano, Strega literary award winner in 2008 and teacher of creative writing at SISSA Master’s course in Science Communication "Franco Prattico" (MCS).
