You can enrol if:

  • you already have a degree;
  • you are enrolled in another university;
  • you passed a high-school leaving examination and are qualified to apply for university courses of study. If you passed your examination abroad, you must refer to the International Students webpage.

If you are already enrolled in this University, the courses must be added to your study plan as additional courses.

Choice of courses

Application for single courses is permitted up to a maximum of 36 credits per year. The contribution is 40,00 Euro for each CFU.

If the course chosen is not divided into several "Course Unit" (moduli), you must take all the CFU offered: check it on the online guide.

Credits acquired for single courses can be recognised for a subsequent course of study (but not to gain entrance to years after the first) or as an integration to your study plan (e.g. to apply for a Master’s degree).

If you choose a course with a limited number of places, you must obtain approval (‘nullaosta’) to attend from the department responsible for the course. For the procedure to follow, contact in advance the Student Secretariat of your chosen course.

Application submission

For the academic year 2023/2024 you can submit your registration application from 9 August 2023 by 19 April 2024 (mandatory deadline) in the following ways:

1) Download this supplementary form, fill in, sign it and keep it in pdf format

2) Register on the University website, on the online Student Secretariat

3) Proceed with enrollment:

  • connect to the online services and log in;
  • enter the required data and attachments (including the supplementary form of point 1)
  • pay the cost of the virtual revenue stamp of € 16.00, using the PagoPa platform, as per the instructions available on Studenti >> Taxes and discounts, in point >> Methods of payment and refunds.

By entering the link “payments” from the online services it is possible to check the payment status (a green traffic light means effected payment).

4) Wait for the email from the Admissions Office responsible for the chosen courses, which will notify you of the charge of the fee due for the requested individual courses.

Other information

Once you have received the registration number, you will have to follow the mandatory video course on safety.

You cannot take the exams before the end of the course, even if you don't attend it.

You will have to register online for the exam sessions: for the dates, consult the didactic calendar published on the websites of the Departments.

The exams can only be taken in the sessions scheduled for the academic year of submission of the application.

Examination sessions for the academic year 2023/2024 are as follows:

  • First session: from November 2023 to March 2024
  • Second session: from April 2024 to August 2024
  • Third session: from September 2024 to October 2024
  • Special session: from November 2024 to March 2025

After the last available session, enrolment automatically lapses. You can, however, re-apply in the following academic years.

Exceptions: if you request enrollment in courses that have been defined as a necessary requirement for access to a master's degree programme:

  • to be able to enroll in the master's degree course in the a.y. 2023/24 you will have to sit the exams by 29 February 2024
  • you are exempt from attending courses, therefore you can take the relative exams even before the end of the course itself
