Under the topic “'Global Challenges in today's international HE sphere” some EU and non EU Universities belonging to the Network Santander Group will gather for the Annual Meeting next October. The Liaison Officers' Meeting, the General Assembly and the Think Tanks for Latin America and China will take place in Trieste from 15 to 19 October 2018.
The event will be hosted by the University of Trieste in its headquarters of Trieste and Gorizia. The SGroup European Universities' Network is an Organisation founded in 1988 and composed of over 30 Higher Education Institutions from about 15 countries, with the aim of expanding collaboration opportunities in education and research through the transfer of knowledge and development of strategic alliances.
The focus of the week are the two LO’s and GA’s Meetings, which are organized in two sections from 17 October to 19 October, in order to respectively discuss the present problems, learn about new initiatives within the network, settle a new agenda of the activities for the next academic year and develop the general policy of the Group.
For the Universy of Trieste the Sgroup Meeting is a great occasion to foster its mission on internationalisation, reinforce its strategic role and prepare the route to ESOF.
