There are several reasons to visit Turin. Turin is the first former capital of Italy, with an unequalled cultural, architectural and monumental heritage. It has leading university, cultural, tourist and scientific centers, and it is the Italy’s third financial and business hub. Turin is the fourth Italian city for population after Rome, Milan and Naples. Since 2009, it has been inserted in the high prestige Michelin Guide Main Cities of Europe, home of four national museums. In the Lonely Planet’s Top 10 destinations to visit in 2015, Turin is the only Italian destination in the European rank. Also, it is the only Italian city selected by the New York Times among 52 places in the world to go during 2016.
